Angela joined Durham Constabulary on the 4th October 1976 and after her Initial Training, was posted to the Police Women’s Department. She served as a uniformed officer at Newton Aycliffe and Spennymoor Police Stations before leaving the force on the 31st August 1984.
Angela was much loved by her family and is survived by her husband Neil, son Daniel and his wife Lydia, son Richard and his wife Jennifer and their children Oliver aged 7 years and Lucy aged 3 years.
A funeral service is to be held at 1.30pm Friday 29th November 2024 at Wear Valley Crematorium, Coundon, Bishop Auckland DL14 8PE. The service is not private and friends are welcome to attend.
Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Marie Curie and Macmillan Care.
After the funeral, friends are invited to join the family at the Cross Keys Public House, Hamsterley DL13 3PX
