Lilian was the widow of retired Police Sergeant 220 Norman Lee, who died in August 2021, aged 87 years.
Lilian served as a Policewoman in Durham County Constabulary, completing 7 years’ service. Whilst stationed at Consett she met Norman, who she married in 1962.
Lilian is survived by daughters Barbara and Jayne, and grandchildren Hayden, Adam, Lewis and Paige.
A funeral service is to be held at 1.30pm Wednesday 1st May 2024 at Durham Crematorium, South Road, Durham DH1 3TQ
Family flowers only, donations in lieu to the Alzheimer’s Society.
After the funeral, friends are invited to join the family at The Duke of Wellington, Darlington Road, Durham DH1 3QN.
