It is with regret that we have to inform you of the death of a retired Police Officer : PC John Alfred Davies, of Catchgate, Consett, died 28th October 2021 aged 84 years.
John served 25 years retiring in 1986 when he became a Coroners Officer for 5 years.Mr Davies was a widower and he leaves a son Ian and daughter Jill Graham.
Funeral at Mountsett Crematorium at 11.45 hrs on Tuesday 23rd November 2021.
