Death of a retired Police Officer : DC 2368 Gordon Eddy

It is with regret that we have to announce the death of a retired Police Officer : DC 2368 Gordon Eddy, who passed away on the 24^th February 2020, he was aged 70 years.

Gordon leaves a widow Glynis, son Paul and grandchildren

Gordon joined Durham Constabulary on the 4^th May 1970, serving at Darlington, then Ferryhill. He then served the majority as a Detective on CID, Force Crime Squad and Regional Crime Squad in Gosforth. He retired on the 3^rd May 2000

The funeral service will be taking place on the 4^th March 2020 at 2.45pm at St Paul’s Church, Spennymoor then afterwards at Durham Crematorium. The funeral service is not private. Refreshments will be held at Tudhoe Victory Club in Spennymoor.
