Death of a retired Police Officer : Sergeant Eric Raymond Smith

It is with regret that we have to announce the death of a retired Police Officer :  Sergeant Eric Raymond Smith, who passed away on the 12^th April 2018. He was aged 87 years.
He leaves a widow Sheila.
He retired from Durham Constabulary on the 11^th July 1967.
The funeral service took place on the 8^th May at St Joseph's Church, Norton.
Donations have been requested in lieu of flowers to Cancer Research UK.
