It is with regret that we have to inform you of the death of a retired civilian employee : Kath Harland who died peacefully at home on the 18th December, aged 71yrs.
Kath worked as a typist for Durham Constabulary for many years, working with the Traffic Department at Newton Aycliffe during the 1970's-80's.
The funeral service will be held at St. Andrews Church, Aycliffe Village, at 11.45am on Friday January 3rd, followed by cremation at Wear Valley Crematorium, Coundon, at 12.30pm. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu in aid of the Butterwick Hospice may be given or will be accepted by Whitehouse Funeral Service, Surtees House, Hilton Road, Newton Aycliffe, DL5 6EN.
